U.S. Army Chemical Defense Training Facility (CDTF) – Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri
In support of the Army’s Chemical Defense Training Facility, DAWSON provided training support inside the Department of Defense’s only live chemical agent training facility. DAWSON was responsible for providing student reception, odor sensitivity station set-up & testing, masks fitting/validation, equipment preparation, and dress-out in personal protective equipment. We also set-up the outdoor rehearsal pads and issued protective clothing and equipment to students.
Center of Domestic Preparedness (CDP) – Federal Emergency Management Agency – Anniston, Alabama In support of the Center for Domestic Preparedness, DAWSON is providing facility management and operations and maintenance services support to the Department of Homeland Security’s Chemical, Ordnance, Biological, and Radiological Training Facility (COBRATF). The COBRATF provides hands-on training to the Nations emergency responders in order to prepare them for protecting against, responding to, recovering from and mitigating all hazards with emphasis on chemical, biological, and radiological threats. This facility prepares Federal, State, local, and Tribal emergency response personnel to respond to all hazards including terrorist attacks using weapons of mass destruction. This facility trains with live chemical and biological agents.
U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence – Fort Benning
In support of the Army’s Maneuver Support Center of Excellence, DAWSON is providing Direct Support to Training Events in support of 199th Brigade, 2-11th Infantry Regiment, Infantry Basic Officer Leaders Course. This includes supporting five (5) training companies and providing training support during range and field training exercises. Tasks include providing training program management and deployment support to include providing range and training area logistics, ammunition handling, and recovery support.
In support of the JPEO-CBRND, DAWSON is a prime contractor on the Joint Enterprise Contracted Logistics and Service Support (JE-ClaSS) contract. Under this contract, DAWSON is providing Contractor Logistics Support to the Joint Ground Mask Team. This includes providing Total Package Fielding and New Equipment Training (NET). To date, DAWSON has assisted in fielding more than 500,000 Joint Service General Purpose Masks, completed 500+ NET events, and presented training to 5000+ Soldiers worldwide.
