On the evening of February 24, 2018, an EF-2 strength Tornado, with winds of up to 125 mph, hit Clarksville, Tennessee. It traveled four miles, destroying at least four homes and damaging dozens of others, displacing 103 families.

The community had a major urgency for baby supplies such as diapers, formula and wipes, as well as $25 gift cards for those families that were forced into hotels for weeks and even months until their homes were revitalized.  The local DAWSON Impact Ambassadors, Samantha Smith and Deanna Moore, gathered their team to procure the needed items and deliver them to the YAI Outreach. Samantha’s two sons also happened to be along and were excited to help.
